STEVE & MIKAELA: ADORABLY QUIRKY ECLECTIC WEDDING AT GREEN MEADOWS PETTING FARM IN IJAMSVILLE, MD // MARYLAND WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER

There are few things sweeter than being surrounded by amazingly supportive and loving family and friends on your wedding day! That's what we got to see at Steve and Mikaela's wedding at Green Meadows Petting Farm in Ijamsville, MD on June 23, 2018! Steve and Mikaela's wedding was equal parts elegant, quirky, and eclectic from her gorgeous and fairy-tale like dress, to details of their favorite Marvel Lego super heroes, a pinky promise during their ceremony, and a light saber battle surprise after their first dance. Mikaela wore a beautiful tiara that Steve gave to her when he proposed in Disney at the Be Our Guest restaurant!

Steve and Mikaela were so attentive to every single detail of their wedding and sprinkled parts of their love story all throughout the day! We absolutely loved their Mickey and Minnie Mouse cake topper, mismatched socks for each of the groomsmen, their DIY centerpieces with pictures of each of them as they've grown up, and Steve's hilarious sweatbands around his head and wrists as he went for Mikaela's garter to the Rocky Balboa Theme Song. One of the funniest things to happen on their wedding day was when the peacock chimed in along with their bridal party as they cheered for the new Mr. and Mrs.!

We literally got the best of both worlds with Steve and Mikaela's wedding! It was sunny and beautiful to start the day, sprinkled a little right after their ceremony making everything sparkly and lush along with some adorable little rain drops on the umbrella, and then cleared up again in time for their reception! Then, we got some amazing stormy clouds with the most gorgeous golden hour light peeking through for some extra bride and groom portraits! We couldn't contain our excitement when the skies finally opened up around 10:00pm and it POURED! Most couples do not want rain on their wedding day (and we totally understand that!) but a little rain can make some seriously magical photos and that's exactly what they got! Insert: all the heart eyes emojis!!

This couple is so head over heels in love with each other and we are so happy they chose us to celebrate their wedding day with them! We know they have a very long and happy life ahead of them! Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Lesko!!
