Marcus and Janay's Inner Harbor wedding at the Hyatt Regency was the best way to start off our double header weekend! We got to see them just two days prior to their wedding for their engagement session at Federal Hill, and this got all four of us even more excited for their day!! We truly believe it is so important to have an engagement session, even if it is last minute, because it makes such a big difference in connecting with each other and getting the best possible results for your wedding photos and film! Janay and Marcus are so much fun and their relationship goes so much deeper then their love for each other. They are truly best friends -- constantly laughing and giggling together, and lighting each other up in the most magical way!

On their wedding day they celebrated one year of marriage on the rooftop of the Hyatt Regency in Baltimore, MD! After details, getting ready, and their letter readings to each other, we started with an emotional and gorgeous first look with the cityscape in the background, made our way down to the harbor for some romantic portraits, and then got ready for their ceremony!

Marcus' letter to Janay was hands down one of the most heartfelt, sweet, and funny letters we've ever heard from a groom! We have never tried cookies from Harris Teeter before, but his letter makes them sound really good and we are dying to try them now! We are also known to make late night runs to the store for random goodies, so this might be our next guilty pleasure! During their ceremony, Marcus was so overcome with emotion at the sight of their adorable son followed by his beautiful bride walking down the aisle to him! Although, they are one year in, this moment was so symbolic of forever for them!

We weren't sure if the weather was going to hold out for us this day! There were lots of stormy clouds on the horizon. Instead, we got an amazing golden sunset just in time for their ceremony that peeked through the buildings in such a beautiful way. After their ceremony, it was time to party! For their first dance, they swirled around the floor taking turns signing to each other! Then after dinner, they had the cutest cake cutting and an amazing sparkler exit to end their night!! We are so thankful we met these two and hope to see them for many more years to come! Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Davis!!
