MICHAEL & BROOKE: LAKESIDE ENGAGEMENT SESSION AT CODORUS STATE PARK IN HANOVER, PA // MARYLAND ENGAGEMENT PHOTOGRAPHER
Do you know what we love? We love getting to know our couples and what they love to do together! When Brooke and Michael said that they love to kayak, we knew a park or lake engagement session would be perfect for them! Brooke and Michael have known each other since kindergarten and started dating in the 10th grade! Not only is it totally adorable that they are high school sweethearts, but they’ve been together for 8 years already and it is so sweet to see them anxiously await their wedding day after all these years together!
Since we had not done a session at Corodus State Park before, we were trying to find the best spot to fit what they love to do! So, when we found this little spot of boats, pontoons, and canoes on the water, we knew this was the place! The colorful tones of the canoes fit amazingly with the gorgeous Fall weather and made a beautiful backdrop for Brooke and Michael! These two are so cute and have so much fun together that this vibrant location seemed to fit them perfectly!
After their session, we got the sweetest email from Brooke,
”I just wanted to reach out and say that you again. You made something Michael was dreading something he enjoyed! We got in the car and he kept saying how great you guys are and how easy you made things. We can tell you definitely love your job and you guys are definitely awesome at it! We can't wait to see how they all turned out!”
We know that for some, photos aren’t exactly their idea of having fun! That can be for so many reasons and is something we see A LOT! That’s why it is SO important to us that we do our very very best to make each and every one of our couples feel comfortable, happy, and even show them our crazy goofy side to help them feel at ease! To us, photo sessions should feel easy and we like our couples to feel like they are hanging out with a friend who just happens to be taking pictures of them! After all, we do love being friends with our couples and having a lasting relationship with them!
We can’t wait to see these two again on their wedding day at Springfield Manor Winery and Distillery! They were both so trusting of all of our crazy ideas for their engagement session and we know we are going to have an amazing time with them celebrating their big day!
