Some of our favorite moments of their day were listening to their adorable letters to each other, laughing during their ceremony when they talked about their story and how they met, Shannon’s emotional first look with her Dad, and jamming on the dance floor to N’sync and other 90’s jams!

Shannon and Andrew were without a doubt one of the sweetest couples we’ve ever had and we laughed and cried all over again while editing their wedding gallery! Their ceremony was one we will never forget — it was romantic, heartfelt, and so adorable!

We instantly fell in love with this couple when we first met them, even more during their engagement session, and they melted our hearts all over again that day.

So many of our couples say that they are nervous to have photos done if they never have before, but when we get started, they are all naturals! We can’t say for sure exactly why that is, but we like to think that besides being totally in love with each other, that we create an environment that makes them feel comfortable enough to be themselves!

Although, we have had the opportunity to capture dozens of weddings, we had not done a Greek wedding yet, so Ashley and Manoli were great at telling us everything we should expect! From new traditions at the ceremony that we had not experienced before, to traditional dances at their reception, we were entertained all day!

Do you know what we love? We love getting to know our couples and what they love to do together! When Brooke and Michael said that they love to kayak, we knew a park or lake engagement session would be perfect for them! Brooke and Michael have known each other since kindergarten and started dating in the 10th grade! Not only is it totally adorable that they are high school sweethearts, but they’ve been together for 8 years already and it is so sweet to see them anxiously await their wedding day after all these years together!

We are so excited to share some beautiful moments from Amanda and Ryan’s wedding day! We feel so honored to have had the chance to work with them and capture the beginning of their unique love story! After tragedy struck both of their lives, they found happiness through the sorrow together. Jimmy and I have a soft spot in our hearts for light and bright colors for a Spring wedding and they styled their day perfectly with gorgeous, soft yellow tones!

One of our favorite moments of the day was when Amber realized she had a beautiful butterfly pendant in her bouquet. When she was told that Chris had arranged for it to be added to her flowers, she was so touched by her soon-to-be sweet husband! For those of you who don’t know, Amber’s Gram always said that when she passed, she would become a butterfly, so the deep symbolism behind the beautiful pendant speaks volumes of Chris’ love for Amber and making sure that she knew her Gram was close by.

Carla and Kenny were so trusting of us as they climbed on the rocks but Teddy was pretty hesitant at first! Once he was in his Mom and Dad’s arms though, he was ready for the camera and excited!

These two are so easy to work with, so adorable together, and we cannot wait for their wedding next September!! We’ve had the pleasure of doing a couple of their friend’s weddings and now it is their turn!

We mean it when we say how BLESSED we are to work with all of our couples and especially couples like Shannon and Andrew. These two are incredible people, so sweet, and have become two wonderful friends that we hope to have many more years with!

We have some SUPER exciting news that we have been DYING to share with you all!! We’ve been super quiet about what we’ve been working on in our business for the last few months but we are SO stoked to be sharing this with you all today!!

Getting to do Alex and Eric’s engagement session was one we have been so extremely excited about since the day we met them!! The light was absolutely perfect, the gardens were so green and the flowers so lush from all the rain prior to their session, and their outfits were thoughtfully chosen and so very classy!

As soon as we arrived, we were in love with the beauty of the lodge and were so excited for the surprisingly cool weather for a July day! It felt like we were shooting an early Spring or Fall wedding which was so out-of-the-norm for Maryland! Tarah and Eric’s day was authentic and genuine and so full of emotion! We absolutely loved their first look which left Eric totally in awe and speechless at the sight of his gorgeous bride. Then, we adventured around the lodge to find some amazing portrait locations and they were up for anything! The property itself doesn’t have a ton of tree coverage, so Tarah and Eric trusted us and trekked up a hill in to the woods, stood on the side of the driveway near a flower patch, and twirled around on the front patio of the lodge!

Our Romantic Bohemian Orchard styled shoot is one we've been waiting to share since June! Not only is it trendy and sweet, but it is jaw-droppingly gorgeous from the free form bouquet with lots of greenery, subtle gold accents, geodes, a dreamy cheesecloth table runner, a custom designed dream catcher backdrop, agate invitations, and emerald engagement ring, romantic loose curls with a beautiful hair vine, stunning make-up, and handmade details such as geode earrings, crystal wine glass wraps, and a backdrop necklace!

Steve and Mikaela's wedding was equal parts elegant, quirky, and eclectic from her gorgeous and fairy-tale like dress, to details of their favorite Marvel Lego super heroes, a pinky promise during their ceremony, and a light saber battle surprise after their first dance. Mikaela wore a beautiful tiara that Steve gave to her when he proposed in Disney at the Be Our Guest restaurant!

From the red and black suits and bridesmaids dresses, subtle red flowers in their bouquets, sweet details sprinkled throughout their reception, and very Disneyesque invitations, the whole day was magical!

Gosh we have been SO blessed with each and every single one of our clients this year! Amber and Chris are so easy to work with! They are naturals in front of the camera, laugh and have a great time together all on their own, and love each other so deeply that you can feel it in every fiber of their being.

Ryan and Ashley held their beautiful wedding at Celebrations at the Bay in Pasadena, MD at the end of May! Their wedding day was extra special because it was the day they were also celebrating 10 years together as they are high school sweethearts!

Janay and Marcus are so much fun and their relationship goes so much deeper then their love for each other. They are truly best friends -- constantly laughing and giggling together, and lighting each other up in the most magical way!
